I didn’t realize how much I needed a massive choreographed dance number with zombies in the background until now. Bea on the bus jamming out is the cutest thing ever.
Gotta love how Akira and Kancho ar so in synch with their dance moves like the bros they are, Shizuka has that IDGAF attitude until she's dragged into this for chorus, and Bea is just doing her own thing and having a blast
BEST VERSION OF THE OPENING EVER
So, we’re all learning the moves, right? If we can’t learn to do this OP dance together, I’d rather be a zombie!
I like how both the animation and the post-apocalyptic world in Zom 100 are bright and filled with vivid colors. Kinda reminds me of Sunset Overdrive
Even if the Anime is on a undefined hiatus at least they gave us this beatiful opening till now.
For an anime based on the thought "before I die" it actually inspires you to live to the fullest. I mean, they're LITERALLY dancing next to graffiti saying Memento Mori. (Remember you will die)
It's tragic how this wasn't ready when the show first started because now the season is over and no one is going to talk about how excellent this opening is.
It's a shame how this show was handled, it's such a gem.
A zombie comedy that uses the apocalypse to tackle how exploitation affects you as a person and robs you of your dreams and passion, and breaking free from those influences to live your life to the fullest.
A zombie is a person who is not living life.
In a genre so commonly desaturated in color and focused on the loss of meaning (institutions, relationships, moral values, etc.),
I appreciate that Zom 100 stages its response the way it does, literally bringing color to the screen.
The fact he ticks off a bucket list in order to live more is a beautiful recontextualization. I'm genuinely proud of the mangaka and the staff working on this show.
This show is such an underappreciated gem,it's a whole new take on the Zombie Anime genre as a whole and I am all here for it and have been thoroughly entertained and inspired.
It is so funny and so very fearless in it's messages that I believe there are people who are afraid of what this show will do if it's popularity is allowed to grow and inspires others I hope big studios aren't Blackballing BUG.
This is one of those openings that will make you smile no matter what
