Eren and Mikasa finally found peace
I think the ending of the song really showed Eren and Mikasa to finally be reunited in the afterlife. I know this might be a stretch and you may think I pumped myself full of copium but please check this out. I'll explain the video animation, the lyrics, the symbolisms, foreshadowings and such.
Remember, Isayama always added symbolism and foreshadowing all throughout AOT by using visuals of flowers and the like and it shouldn’t be a surprise that he did so even in the animations of the final song of the series.

This whole video from start to finish is a masterpiece. Showing Mikasa going into the water and transitioning through the path to the afterlife. Showing the glimse of white lilies, symbolizing her rebirth within the path. Her searching for Eren to find a bird holding the rose she left on his grave. Passing over her and the true freedom he has found. Finally reunited and able to be together, her only wanting to truly be with him. Waking up with tears and holding his hand knowing that its not a dream and they truly are together again. 10/10 cant stop crying
This actually makes sense
On the previous ending Eren was alone who waits for Mikasa in the afterlife and then here they reunited!
Both endings are perfectly placed together.

Attack on Titan is a story that saved my life and touched my heart from a dark place. My parents were getting divorced, adjusting in my early life got harder, and the world felt like it was falling apart. However, when I watched Attack on Titan never in my life did I think a story where watching a character explore the darkest corners of his journey would resonate with me and build up my spirit again only to make feel even stronger. Attack on Titan story is about what it means to never give into fate and surrender. So I chose to live my life to the fullest by my choice and never give into my sadness, because I learned I have enough time to live every moment like it’s my last and build my own happiness. Thank you Hajime Isayama, I live now to be the best I can be!
It has been such a journey. Thanks to everyone who was involved in the making of this amazing anime.
