I love that mecha and kaiju are slowly taking back their rightful place in the media spotlight.
I don't understand how a franchise like this has failed so hard in the West. The stories are well told and it's serious tones are phenomenal.
I know Zeon always referred to the OG RX-78-2 as "The White Devil" in the series, but man, seeing it in shadows, surrounded by fire, red eyes and its horns, it becomes more and more clear to me how it must have felt to see this thing run through your outpost and wipeout whole squads, really curious to see how this turns out!
It’s awesome to see the world of Gundam still pumping out content, especially revolving around the One Year War. I remember buying the Bandai action figures in Target, Kmart, etc. in the early 2000s. I still have an unopened Gundam Alex and Kämpfer sitting in my office.
The Gundam franchise and series are so underrated and I hope more people learn and get interested about Gundam
I'm enjoying these Gundam anime from the antagonist's perspective. The human struggle does not care which side you are on, and sometimes the White Knight is just a super-power with other goals stepping in.
I always love zeon grunt's reaction when they see or hear Gundam. Now we're able to feel it as we watch from their POV
As long as Netflix keeps supporting the creation and perpetuation of amazing animation content I’ll keep my membership.
This put me into literal tears of joy. I grew up with the original Gundam series, grew up with Gundam Wing, Gundam Zero, etc. And to see it's making a comeback is a dream come true. I hope anyone reading this actually can put a little bit of their time to actually see this show. You guys won't regret it. Gundam is an AMAZING universe filled with awesome battles/stories that you guys really will enjoy.
The Gundam outclassed the Zakus in everything. Armor, laser gun, beam saber, looks, you name it. I was so amazed in my young age the first time I saw the very first series with Amuro and the White Base. One of my favorites scenes in the series is when the Gundam survives reentry to earth’s atmosphere using some special blanket he was carrying in a secret side pocket. I love this franchise so much and this Netflix trailer looks good can’t wait to check it out.
First, it brings me joy to see a TV series about what Zeon went through in the One-year War. Similar to MS Igloo but, better this TV series has me excited for Gundam all over again. I can't wait to see where this show goes from here.
Also, this soundtrack sounds amazing! I take it it's a song they made for the opening no one has released it yet? (Kinda figured).
Everything about this trailer even music and animations gives me 2010 game trailer vibes and i love it can't wait to watch this.

I love that the interpretation of the Gundam from the Zeon pilots' view is that of a demon in the dark. It fits the moniker of White Devil
The amount of effort and detail put into every scene is unreal. Props to the team for the tremendous quality of effort.
