The band that made the opening, "Creepy Nuts" is comprised of a duo, a rapper who won Japan's rap battling competition 3 years in a row, and a guy who won the DMC world DJ championship back in 2019. They have a lot of experience and you can tell.
This opening running through my mind in Exam hall for like 3hrs
The band for this, Creepy Nuts, also did the opening and ending for a show called Call of the Night which are both songs i think you'd enjoy a lot. The opening is "Daten" by Creepy Nuts and the ending is "Yofukashi no Uta" by Creepy Nuts.
What is really insane about this song is that its so simple yet its completely doing its own thing, and it all just works, I can't get bored of it. I feel like many 'simple' songs (well the song writers anyway) play it safe and do very simple and/or obligatory stuff only, that they know can hardly go wrong, just so their song would appeal to everyone and their mom. But I don't feel that from this song at all.
It's Harry Potter with protein, protagonist casts fists all the time.

Mashle is primarily a comedy/action show.
The setting is basically Hogwarts with a society only consisting of magical people.
Our main character has no magic but is very physically gifted. (Hence the magic & muscle)
The character designs are very pleasing and the comedy is pretty good.
If you haven't checked out the apothecary diaries OP1 full 'Hana Ni Natte' I would highly recommend! My favourite opening this season.
At first I didn’t really vibe with the song but after a couple relistens it got me. That entire “Bling-bang” section is just too catchy and the ridiculousness of the song matches the anime pretty well
the instrument is very simple but very effective. and the lyric, the articulation, the sounds they make make it banger lmao
Mashle is basically Harry Potter One Punch Man and the song is pretty much about how dope the singer/speaker/character is. In the bridge after the chorus, he basically says “being me every day is a flex”.
Definitely one of my favorites this season. I like other songs more from a technical standpoint, but this one is just so fun to listen to and has so many unique sounds that they decided to play with. Creepy Nuts is awesome in quirky, unique ways, and one of the few Japanese hip hop/rap groups that is really worth checking out.
For me, what makes this song is the flow of the lyrics. Since it has such a simple beat and rhythm, so the lyrics/flow must be good, and boy did they kill it. Creepy Nuts is always making bangers after bangers, my favorite after this is definitely Stayin’ up Lullaby.
The thing that makes mashle so good is their comedy, for some reason this song fits the show so well.
Creepy Nuts are awesome, they make some very unorthodox jams but they all end up being bangers
and speaking of bangers, idk if you've already listened to it but these guys also did the intro and outro for Call of the Night, and both of those songs are INCREDIBLE vibes
Creepy Nuts are so fun. Their songs for the OP and ED for Call of the Night are absolute bangers, but I bet a lot of people might have missed them since CotN is on HiDive. I would love to see an analysis of one or both of those as well, particularly the ED.

I don't know much about music theary but it's always fun to hear what guys like this have to say about bangers like this.
There's just so much happening at the same time on that song and everything fits... It's amazingly perfect..
this song captures the goofiness and the "mystic" of the harry potter world so well
and that reflects in the actual show as well
