The reason I love Melanie is because she talks about real world issues and difficult topics.some people hate her because they think she’s to creepy or disturbing but that’s the part of the point, you are supposed to feel uncomfortable so that you realize how awful these things are. Thanks Melanie for helping everyone realize all the awful things that are happening.

As someone who used to be a Teacher's Pet, this song really resonates with me. I thought one of my teachers was just as in love with me as I was of him before I grew up and realized that if he hadn't swapped classes with another teacher, then he would've gone further with the manipulative actions and probably would've fucked me up pretty badly.

This song gives me chills. I am the survivor of abuse from an teacher when I was in high school. It’s not okay.

As a victim of CSA, this song really hits close to home. You know that it's wrong, and disgusting, but at the same time, it feels amazing, having someone care about you, and love you. When they leave, it feels so terrible to be all alone.

Remember this isn't a romantic story. It's about abuse, and grooming, I've seen a few glmv romanticising it and just wanted to say it's wrong, i appreciate Melanie so much for having amazing storylines. I enjoy your music sm.

the acting in this is SO accurate, the way the teacher doesn’t do anything crazily romantic/sexual but putting his arms around her while “showing her the answers” and calling her his favourite student, winking at her in class. all these mocking tiny movements show that although he’s acting like a sweet romantic love interests that angelita likes him for, tricking her mind into thinking that they’re something that “needs to be hidden because nobody else understands” but he’s an evil person and he knows it.
