If Nijisanji put as much effort into supporting their talents as they do slandering them, Hololive would have actual competition.
For me, the worst part is that Niji said that Selen said that she was being harassed by other livers while Doki said she was bullied by people in the company without specifying who. If Niji is lying about livers, it means they're willing to sack the entire EN branch just to divert bad press of themselves. If Niji is telling the truth, that means that not only do they not defend their livers from each other, but they also encourage livers to go after each other. Either way, Niji made things worse for themselves by sowing distrust in everyone, since we can't know who did it until Doki says who. Now, more innocent people are going to get hurt.
False is fully using that newscaster ability to somehow throw shade at a company by just reading their words verbatim.

Nijisanji had the choice of letting her peacefully graduate, but they chose to terminate her with a statement that tries to damage her public image, making the entire community mad, truly a company that cares about their reputation.
I think what angered the community more was the fact that they completely dragged her thru the mud and even threw her under the bus. The fans knew there were chances of her leaving after the cover fiasco but niji just decided to set everything on fire by creating a 3 page document yapping too much and only completely pointing fingers at selen and selen alone when there has been artist voicing out that niji themselves were late on their payments and selen had to pay them out of her own pocket. Niji EN is just a mess overall.
I saw someone in the comments on the previous Selen video pondering whether the hospital visit and silence was due to an attempt and they were shamed for daring to speculate it. Turns out they were right. Actually unbelievable. Really glad to hear she's going to bounce back though, and I hope she's able to fully expose these clowns without fear of legal trouble.
Hearing Selen crying in her message broke my heart and I was on the verge of crying too. At least now she can move on to a brighter future.
I just subscribed to Doki's Twitter/X account to support her. While I was never a Dragoon, I did have a lot of respect and care for Selen. She was (here I am speaking past-tense, as if the person behind Selen is gone forever... forgive me, especially with the IRL stuff she is recovering from) a very big-hearted individual with an even bigger laugh that was extremely contagious. I will never forget the time when Niji held a costume design contest for her (I think that's what it was), but they specified that the winner wouldn't get any sort of prize money, etc. Selen, being disgusted by this, offered to pay the winner like $1000 out of her own pocket, because she respects artists/designers and believes they should get something for their hard work.
Honestly I haven't seen the vtuber community come to together this much in support of a creator since the whole Coco/ hachama thing from acouple of years ago. This shows how much she is liked

Wait... so even if I take them at their word, nijisanji has been keenly aware of the mentioned issues for a good while. So they've watched these issues develop, have failed to address them or sort them out and then just let things roll on forwards for two years? All that and refusing to address their role in all of this?
During Selen’s termination, the other en talents tweeted “I love NIJISANJI” during that time of her termination. But I think it was management that orders the talents to type that tweet. But I’m worried for the talents that get much hate for tweeting it, but I hope the people won’t harass them for doing it…

Knowing what its like when you feel as if everything and everyone is turned against you, the despair you can feel is immense, and completely unnatural. Thank God she's still with us man. Im not even a dragoon, but man Im glad she's still here. Fuck all those mfs that put that kind of pressure on one of the most creative talents in the vtuber space.
honestly, with the silence and the hospitalization, i was seriously worried for the worst

The wordage of the Activity Rights violations specifying that its not only copywrite protection, but needing authorization to use Nijisanji affiliates as well, pretty much confirms in my mind that the MV was withheld not due to the song's copywrite (which we already knew Lily gave the rights), but they didn't give her authorization to use the graduates in the video.
hi, a dragoon here.. as much as i'm still disturbed that my kamioshi has been mentally struggling to the extent of attempting, i need to get this off my chest. i'm wounded deeply and it's not her hurting me, what hurt me is the fact that this is a corporation, a talent agency that is supposed to look after their talents. they should have resolved everything internally and in a way that was satisfactory to both sides, selen and the company. but instead, selen had to constantly give in and sacrifice. not to say she didn't fight where she could, she did her absolute best but there is only so much she can do when she's under one of those messed up anycolor hell contracts. this is probably where most of her "violations" come from. we had to endure all this time of uncertainty asking for an explanation or a statement not knowing if she's going to come back to us through nijisanji anymore. even rpr tweeted about not being able to reach her and mentioned it on stream. most of us had a feeling that this is it. now with that useless official statement they released and what she's tweeted on doki, we can finally tell. that company barely cares for their talents, it's all about fast momey. especially true for the global branches. PLEASE show your livers lots of love while they're still active. they could be going through so much behind the scenes. and to whoever it is that hurt our purple dragon you'll get yours someday.
